Before releasing his brand new studio album “Let The Dog Drive Home” which by many is considered “the next big thing“, Teitur comes up with a
teaser mini-album/EP late this year.
During the past two years Teitur continued his career in many different ways, producing and writing for the major French artist, Nolwenn; co-writing
and performing with contemporary fi lm musician Nico Muhly (who scored the movie “The Reader”), writing for other artists and all the time continued
writing songs for his next album. His song “You Get Me” recorded as a duet between the legendary Italian female superstar Mina and US
superstar Seal has recently been a top ten hit in Italy and also made it onto Seal’s solo album.
Besides a beautiful live version of this song the mini-album also contains the never before released tracks “Hanging My Worries Out To Dry
(demo)”, the demo version of the “Stay Under The Stars” favourite “Hitchhiker”, the previously well hidden track “Baby You Don’t Ever Have To
See Me Again (demo)” and as special curiosity on top the Faroese track “Tokspor” from the “Kata Hornid” album. “You Never Leave L.A.” being
the lead-single and “Stormy Weather (demo)” being another track from the upcoming album the EP includes 8 fantastic Teitur tunes that are well
worth the money and a great preview to the new album “Let The Dog Drive Home”.
