Joe Jackson is one of the most unique musicians in British pop history.
Coming out of the punk musical revolution he immediately got noticed for his skill in combining raw energy, great taste and dislike of stereotypes.

His new project,"The Duke", finds Jackson interpreting 15 Duke Ellington classics over ten tracks, ingeniously combining several songs into medleys and filters the material through his own musical imagination. The first single from his upcoming album is called "I’m Beginning To See The Light" and is set to release digitally on May 25th.

The album "The Duke" will be released on June 22nd, 2012.
