The Zombies ready to release their new album with earMUSIC!

Formed in 1961 in St. Albans, British rock legend The Zombies have torn through the world, leaving their mark in history with their rich, full harmonies and flowing melodies. Hitting the US in ’64, their smash hit “She’s Not There” reached a #2 just in the same six months it was introduced to the people. Also topping a number 80 in the Rolling Stone’s list of the 500 Greatest Albums Of All Time, a number 32 album in the Top 100 British Charts (“Odessey & Oracle” 1968), and an extremely colourful past, they continue to be covered by such artists as: Belle & Sebastian and Beck. Founding member and lead man Rod Argent (piano, vocals) as well as founding member Colin Blunstone (vocals) stuck it out through the course of rock history still collaborate today all over the world.
For 50 years their exquisite arrangements and brilliant stage presence have been seen in every country and not to mention heard in movies and TV shows (‘Dear Wendy’, ‘Awakenings’, ‘Kill Bill 2’, or ‘The Simpsons’ to name but four…), proving how relevant their music still is to the scene today. Talent flowing, Argent and singer Blunstone are celebrating these years of creativity, talented collaborations and amazingly musical rendezvous’ with their new full-length album “Breathe Out, Breathe In”.
Working with the best of the best, Argent and Blunstone tied their creative sides together with guitarist Tom Toomey, bassist/vocalist Jim Rodford and his son drummer Steve Rodford to bring out this new masterpiece. With 10 brilliantly crafted arrangements, this colourful new sound bottles the very essence of their talents as new songs come into play and old revisits are renewed to perfection. “Shine On Sunshine”, “Christmas For The Free” and “Any Other Way” are reworked into a newborn song. This is something that you can’t afford to miss as the world is reintroduced to the grandeur that is The Zombies.
