The album is a roller coaster ride. Created in the turmoil of the pandemic, “Head Above Water” defines keeping your head above water, maturing, yet never losing yourself. Eleven songs that sail through Americana and the origins and footholds of rock with a simplicity that all have one thing in common: Laura Cox’s incredible guitar work and vocal mastery.

This, her third studio album, is the perfect progression of her career and musically the most significant of her work to date. Following “Burning Bright” and its reference to fire, a new element now plays an important role.

After the release of her previous album, Laura played some of the biggest European festivals last year (Hellfest, Pol’and’Rock and many more), she interviewed the legendary Scorpions for ARTE and a documentary was dedicated to her about her rapid rise in the rock scene, produced by WDR for the much-revered Rockpalast.
