“Nature’s Light”, the eleventh studio album by renowned Folk Rock band Blackmore’s Night, is out today! The band was founded in 1997 by award-winning vocalist Candice Night and legendary guitarist Ritchie Blackmore to stage their mutual love for traditional Medieval and Folk-Rock music. Ritchie Blackmore has shaped the Hardrock scene for decades as one of the most influential and notorious guitarists ever, first with Deep Purple and later with Rainbow.

Blackmore’s Night were one of the first bands in the genre to mix medieval melodies with elements of traditional Rock and Folk, crafting a unique sound that accompanied them through their almost 25 year-long career. Singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Candice Night seamlessly blends her ethereal vocals and lyrics, along with a command of numerous classic woodwinds. With Ritchie Blackmore traversing all matter of six-string instruments, from acoustic and electric guitar to mandola, hurdy-gurdy and nyckelharpa and their wonderful band of minstrels, the result is a truly unique listening experience.

Their new studio album “Nature’s Light” is an honest declaration of love to the Folk music of the Renaissance era, deeply inspired by myths and legends of times that are long gone.

“Nature’s Light” will be released on multiple formats. Among these is a Strictly Limited 2CD Hardcover Mediabook Edition including a bonus CD featuring a carefully selected set of Blackmore’s Night’s masterpieces from their extensive back catalogue. Furthermore, the album will become available as a CD Digipak Edition, a Strictly Limited Heavyweight 1LP Gatefold Edition on Yellow Vinyl, a 180g 1LP Gatefold Edition on Black Vinyl as well as Digital.
