Inga Rumpf
The Grande Dame of the German rock-, soul- and blues-scene! Her first band, the City Preachers had no other than Udo Lindenberg on drums. Inga Rumpf had great international success with the rock groups Frumpy („How The Gipsy Was Born“) and Atlantis in the 1970s.
She went on big stadium tours with Aerosmith and Lynyrd Skynyrd in the US. She was celebrated as THE voice of rock from Germany by tens of thousands of people in the audience as well as the American media. Until the year 2000, she made some creative endeavours into German Techno-Pop, Bigband-Jazz, Soul and Gospel. Everything that she does comes with her seal of quality: Inga – the voice!News
